We are very excited to continue our collaboration between Super Heroes Humane Society and The Clark Sports Center Events team! The 2nd annual Trailwagger will be October 10th and once again take place on the amazing trails of Gilbert Lake State Park. No cars to worry about and racers will be treated to beautiful fall colors.
The event offers 4 different divisions, so there is something for every level.
- The 3-mile run/walk takes place on some paved roads in the park and also on the trails.
- Our 5-mile is mostly trail running, and you get to see a couple of the ponds and creeks on the grounds.
- If 5 miles isn't long enough, you can combine the 5-mile with the 3-mile and see 8 miles of the park's trails.
- We also have a two-person team division, each member will run one of the distances 5 and 3 mile
- Returning this year, bring your four-legged family member for a stroll around the lake. All pups will receive a bandana to match your event shirt!
- Register by Sept 27th for an included event T-shirt
This race will be lots of fun in an absolutely beautiful State Park. A portion of the funds from the event will support the Super Heroes Humane Society.
Can't make it to the event in person, but still want to support? We have added a virtual option to the event, and you will receive a T-shirt (if registered by the cut-off date) and be able to help Super Heroes HS!

Super Heroes Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity in Oneonta, NY. We are a mostly volunteer-run organization. We provide our region with traditional animal sheltering along with a free pet food pantry, access to low-cost spay/neuters for cats, and crisis boarding. Community demand for Super Heroes Humane Society’s services has fueled our tremendous growth and shapes the services we offer to pets and their caretakers.
